Course Overview:
The course is more oriented towards vocalists, as a music theory and ear training course with the aim of helping young people without prior music knowledge to understand the basics of music theory, develop aural skills and the ability to use knowledges in practical musicianship.
To participate in this course, it is necessary to have a keyboard with at least 4 octaves (piano, synthesizer).
In this course we:
• will improve intonation and learn to play singing exercises;
• will learn to recognize simple intervals and chords by hearing and apply the knowledge in our music making;
• will learn the elements of different musical styles (musical rhythms, forms, harmonies) and play simple accompaniments for songs.
Online Creative Music Making Course for Intermediate Learners
Prerequisite: Prior knowledge of piano playing

Time: Saturdays, 10:30 to 11:15

Course Overview:
Course is designed for young people who already have piano skills, but want to learn the basics of contemporary rhythmic music, develop the ability to play by ear, create accompaniments and arrangements for songs in pop and jazz music styles, using chord-related symbols.
Those who want to strengthen their acquired skills will have the opportunity to participate in a collective music making workshop in June and August.
